Luder, do you know if this year (2010) HD Suisse broadcasted the Eurovision in HD ?

I think Switzerland (SF, TSR, RSI) was the only country taking part in the competition which didn't broadcast the first semifinal at all. Maybe on HD Suisse? - Austrian ORF did the same but they weren't taking part.

Like marco said, HD suisse didn't have broadcasted the Eurovision this year. And we still don't know why. I think it's probably because the licence fee/audience ratio wasn't good enough.

Maybe the contest will come back on HD suisse in 2011, because it take place in a neighbor country but it's not sure at all. The contest will surely back in HD in Switzerland in 2012 because all of the main channels (SF, TSR, RSI) are planned to broadcast in HD from that year. At the same moment HD suisse will be shut down.

For the semifinals, you're right. None of our public channels has broadcasted the first one. If I'm not wrong, it was the same the last year.
