Zappware inks deal with Swiss cable operator 022 Télégenève SA ‐ naxoo

First deal for Zappware to include a media player service, which allows TV viewers to play their own content on TV

July 16 2010 ‐ Zappware, the Belgian one‐stop solution provider for interactive Digital TV (iDTV) on multiple TV platforms, has signed a deal with Swiss cable operator 022 Télégenève SA ‐ naxoo for the delivery of a broad range of interactive TV services. The deal includes an Electronic Programme Guide (EPG), a Video‐on-Demand (VOD) service, a Personal Video Recording (PVR) service, and a media player service which is based on DLNA. The PVR service allows recordings to be made on an external hard‐disk that is plugged into the set‐top box over USB. The media player service allows TV viewers to browse and play content that is stored on USB storage devices, PCs or other media servers in their home network. All these services are delivered as part of Zappware's proven Flux solution.

Flux will be deployed on top of the SceneGate advanced set‐top box product of Zappware's trusted partner Albis Technologies.

Albis Technologies Closes Set-top Box Deal with 022 Télégenève SA - naxoo

20th July 2010, Zurich, Switzerland - Albis Technologies, a leading technology company today announced that it has signed a deal to supply its new SceneGate set-top box to , 022 Télégenève SA - naxoo.

Albis Technologies’ advanced SceneGate set-top box enables its newest customer, 022 Télégenève SA - naxoo, to deliver innovative services to its customers. The new hybrid (IP/DVB-C) and multimedia SceneGate set-top box will allow naxoo to bring full modularity to market with features such as an external hard drive for PVR, multi-rooming capabilities with UPnP network connection and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth dongle for wireless functionalities. In addition, with 3D capabilities and high quality HD the ScenGate set-top box is one of the most advanced available today.

C'est hyper lent. On dirait un processeur 486 Mhz qui gère un gros windows 95.
Non plus sérieusement la fonction zapping d'une chaîne à une autre est pratiquement inutilisable tellement il y a de temps de latence entre la pression de la touche et la réaction à l'écran de la box.

Honnêtement il y a bien 2 à 3 secondes de latence et de réaction du récepteur Naxoo. C'est franchement une honte de faire payer ce "truc" 20 CHF/mois !

Je confirme, et je rajoute impossible de supprimer des chaînes, il ¨faut les mettre dans une zone haute 700 et plus.
La TV et la Radio sont sur la même liste, impossible d'avoir deux liste de préférences. Et ce n'est que le haute l'iceberg.
